Would You Rather..... Writing

This week we have been learning to persuade people during writing time.  We shared our opinions with each other about different topics.  We had to give some reasons to support our ideas.

Have a Pet Giraffe or a Pet Elephant?

I would have a pet elephant becuase when there is a fire it could spray it out.  That is why I would have a pet elephant.

I would have a  pet giraffe because they run fast because they have long legs.  The giraffe could bring me to school on his back.  That is why I would have a pet giraffe.

Would you rather have a giraffe or an elephant as a pet?  I would rather have an elephant because it can wash my dad's car.  It could also spray me when I am hot.  It can splash me in a water fight with me and my family.  I could use it's trunk as a slide.  It would also water mum's garden.  It could fill the pool up.  That is why I want a pet elephant.

Would you rahter have a pet giraffe or an elephant?  I would have a pet giraffe because he could help me get my apples on the apple tree.  He could help me clean the windows.  He may tell me what the neighbours are doing.  If I learn giraffe language I could ask him to get me food.  That is why I would like a pet giraffe.

Would you rather have a giraffe or an elephant for a pet?  I would like a giraffe as a pet becuase I can slide on it.  It will be just like at the park.  I can play with it when my mum and dad are busy and Alyssa is asleep.  The giraffe can clean up the leaves so my mum and dad wouldn't have to do it.  They will just have to water the garden.  The giraffe could get high things in the supermarket for us.  My mum and dad wouldn't have to stretch.  That is why I would like a giraffe as a pet.

I would rather have a pet giraffe because I can slide down his neck.  I can clean the leaves in my garden.  She could be my best giraffe friend in the world because it can run fast.  I would like my pet giraffe to come to the next cross country because it would come first.  This is why I would like a giraffe as a pet.

I would rather have a giraffe for a pet because I could use it as a slide also I could use it as a car to take me to school.  I could use it as a ladder and I could paint my house at the high bits that I couldn't reach.  I can use him at the Westpac Stadium if there was someone really really tall in front of me.  I would rather have a giraffe as a pet because I could use it to let me climb up his next so I could reach fruit on a fruit tree and look to see if there were some eggs in a birds nest.  That is why I would like a giraffe as a pet.
