Cross Country Fun

Wow what a morning.  It was so good to see all of VH class running hard and strong during our school cross country yesterday.

Here we are all ready and waiting - very excited to get started.

On your marks, get set go!  The girls raced hard and fast.  Across the field, down the walkway, up the steep hill and back to school!

Congratulations to our winners!  Well done!

Now the boys line up!  The weather is beginning to close in.  But we breed them tough at Discovery!

 And they are off!

 Look at the determined and exhausted faces as our winners cross the finish line!

Well done Year 2 boys - great cross country running!

What a way to finish our races.  Big thanks to the DSPTA and New World for the yummy, refreshing ice-blocks!
