Discovery Time - Music Fun
On Friday afternoon Room VH had Discovery Time. This week we had a rotation around the 3 Endeavour classrooms.
First, we played the glockenspiels. It was fun learning to play Mary Had a Little Lamb on these percussion instruments.
Next VH class had fun moving to music with Mrs Berney.
Finally we went to Miss Rowe's class to play percussion instruments. We had to try and make our instrument sound like the rain outside.

Let's Make Music
Room VH made some noise yesterday with some untuned percussion. We are learning to create and follow a beat.
This was our first venture into making music. We used the words 'tea' and 'coffee' to explore the concept of one beat and double beat. See if you can clap the following patterns.
Later in the week we are going to learn about crotchets and quavers - to follow and create our own rhythms.
