Science Fun - Blooming Paper Flowers

This afternoon Room VH had fun doing a science experiment with Mrs Gubb. We created some paper flowers and watched them bloom right in front of our eyes.  Pretty amazing.

 1. Carefully fold your flowers

 2.  Drop flowers into water

 3.  Watch flowers open before our eyes

Science:  When the paper flower absorbs the water it swells along the folded petals.  The petals are forced to unfold.
