Another Busy Week in Room VH

We have had another busy week in Room VH. Our poem this week was about a poor little dragon that got lost and ended up with a family who looked after him. It got us thinking.... if we had a pet dragon how could it help us if it lived with us. Lots of great ideas were invented . It could help us by....

• Heating up our breakfast or dinner
• Light candles
• Heat up mum's coffee
• Be a torch if we lose electricity
• Light our fire
• Fly us to school
• Test our smoke alarms

and so many more.

Haven't we got imaginative, inventive children!

We had our second and last visit with Harold from Life Education. It was so much fun to see Harold again. This week he reminded us how to be a caring friend and how to work with people. Thank you Harold for visiting us again.

Coming up next week we are doing lots of Science! Yeah! We are learning about what is a substance and how they can be changed because everything we see and touch has the ability to change. Sometimes substances change to for new substances. This is called a chemical change. Other times substances change but keep the same identify. This is called a physical change. We are going to learn more about this.
