We love reading books in Room VH. Today is the first day of Discovery School's Book Week.
This morning started with the arrival of our first mystery reader - Daisy's Mum. She read a cool book called Super Daisy and the Peril of Planet Pea. What a funny story!
After that we had a day celebrating and enjoying some books by Julia Donaldson. We read Room on the Broom then designed some great brooms.

We used green hat or creative thinking to come up with our designs.
After morning tea we read the Gruffalo. We thought the mouse was very clever and a bit tricky!
We made some Gruffalo masks then enjoyed some Gruffalo Crumble - Yum!
I wonder what Day 2 of Book Week will bring?
