We have had a really busy start to Term 3. On Monday after our Powhiri the kids had 'Getwise' with ASB.
Vani came in and taught the kids all about money, ATM cards and gave some really useful ideas on what to do with pocket money. It was heaps of fun!
We also participated in the 'Fly Me Up To Where You Are' with Pataka Museum. We created Tibetan Flags based on the art of Tiffany Singh. We thought about our hopes and dreams for our future and created icons to represent our ideas.
The flags are going to be put together and displayed at an installation at Pataka during the 2014 International Arts Festival.
This week we have also begun the 2013 Chapter Book Challenge. It is so great to see the kids motivated to read read read!
So as you can see we have had a few busy days already.
