What a busy week the children and I have had. I was away for most of the week because a very close friend from teacher's college died suddenly in Auckland last weekend so very shocking for her family and myself. Then the flu bug hit me as well.
Speaking of the flu bug so many of my lovelies have been hit too. One day this week we had 9 away. A huge chunk of the class.
Maths week has been a great success. Lots of activities across the school has happened all to do with estimation.
This week saw Life Education begin. We are learning about safe air to breathe and healthy food to make us strong. We have another session next week with Harold and Jane so we are all looking forward to that. Today Harold's big cousin visited our class. We hope you like the photo.
A big thank you to our magnificent reliever Miss Ball. She was magic and the kids really enjoyed having her.
All of you have a safe weekend and I hope everyone is all better and over this yukky flu soon, especially Bree and Ava who have been off all week - we are missing you
Mrs H
