Hi everyone we have had a great start to Term 3. Already in Week 2 we have had a busy start. Last week we had our first session with Ole Soccer. Lots of fun and games with the talented soccer players from the US (and Palmerston North). Session two is on tomorrow.
This week is Maori Language Week and we are using te reo in many subjects. On Monday we used rakau. We have practising our counting and naming colours too.
Today we had a fun session with Jane Lloyd. We learnt some techniques to draw 3D shapes. We recreated some farm letter boxes. The kids definitely listened well.
This week for persuasive writing we are trying to argue that Goldilocks was a naughty girl. You could have a look at the funny video on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg02Xj8rToE and decide for yourself.
